Cape Town – Kanye West was one of the performers to take the stage at the Pan Am Games closing ceremony in Toronto on Sunday and while the 40 000 strong audience couldn’t wait for his performance, no one expected what happened.
The 38-year-old made mic dropping history when he stormed off stage just 13 minutes into his performance due to a faulty microphone.

E! News reports that although the audience watching Kanye on stage could hear the rapper loud and clear, his mic cut out completely, preventing everyone watching live from inside Toronto's Rogers Centre from hearing his performance.

Frustrated by the technical problems, Kanye did what Kanye knows best – he tossed the mic in the air and marched off stage like a boss!
