Wolfmother and Editors set to play Cape Town for One Night Only!

Cape Town - ICYMI: Both Editors (UK) and Wolfmother (AUS) will be making their South African debut performances at this year’s OppiKoppi festival.

Cape Town fans of the bands, who aren’t making the 3000km round trip to the Northam Limpopo, are in luck, for Hilltop Live have confirmed that One Night In Cape Town will be taking place from it’s new home - Good Hope Centre in the city-bowl.

British alternative rock band, Editors, will kick off their first African tour with a performance at One Night In Cape Town on 7 August.  Having released two UK number one albums and two further top 10 UK studio albums, (including top 10 tracks in both the UK and South Africa), gained numerous awards, and headlined festivals across Europe, fans of the band can expect to hear the tracks Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors, Munich, Papillon, Sugar and more of the band’s best from their 2013 album The Weight of Your Love.

Joining the English rockers will be Wolfmother who make straight shooting modern rock ’n roll with a respectful nudge to the founding fathers, this band comes at OppiKoppi like an open top gasoline filled rocket ship looking for a naked flame.

All of this on the back of a brand new recording, New Crown. Like all their previous albums New Crown features what will become rock ’n roll standards such as She’s Got It, Tangerine Dream, I Don’t Know Why and more and more and more.

Ticket details: They’re priced from R300 and available at Plankton.
