She might have won, but has she really got to benefit? (after some unpleasant reports, recently about her state of matter) the credits go to her bosses, She's just a maid that's all she is to them. Congratulations to TS Records, their money cow has served them well. Shame on her she'll cry for her talent, sooner or later.

I walso wish to add to the chorus to congratulate the young girl. It proves that we have talent in this country. She is real a role model from up and coming ones, especially those from rural areas and outside a metropoli such as Johannesburg. However, reading from some comments above, it looks like she is not going to benefit anything material and her recording company will be racking all the monies. Isn't about time that our minister oif Arts and Culture should step in order to protect the interest of our artists while they are still enjopying the limelight? For, I believe, if he can't do it right now, tomorrow he will be crying foul about how our artists die poor and taking from public coffers to pay towards their funeral costs.

Didn't watch the award show for the mere fact that I prefer award shows live. I don't understand how Mnet can broadcast the Oscar's live, yet SABC fail to do the same for events happening HERE. The buzz isn't there anymore if something is delayed. Like when I wanna watch the Grammys, I'll wake up at 3:30am and watch it live, instead of at night when Mnet rebroadcast it for everyone's sake.

  • Fredster - 2012-05-02 08:58

    Well done Elvis Blue
