Be part of the audience as M-Net records local music specials

Cape Town - Top musos and their friends are set to record special M-Net shows at the State Theatre.

Bobby van Jaarsveld, Swing City and Kahn and The Parlotones invite you to be part of the audience.

This festive season, M-Net will be treating viewers to an innovative five-part music series showcasing chart-topping musicians – and their famous muso friends. Three of these music specials will be recorded at the State Theatre in Pretoria on 14, 15 and 16 November and if you put your name forward pronto, you may be among the lucky fans for whom a seat has been reserved in the audience.

Heartthrob Bobby van Jaarsveld will be on stage on Monday, 14 November performing some of the songs that shot him to super-stardom and collaborating with other big names in the industry. If you have a soft spot for the music of Dozi, Jay from the band Eden and Bobby’s talented sister Karlien, you definitely want to be part of this recording.

Then, on Tuesday, 15 November the winning coach from The Voice SA, Kahn Morbee, and his hit-making band The Parlotones will entertain the crowd. Rumour has it that Jack Parow and Khuli Chana count among their friends…

On Wednesday, 16 November the trio of top male vocalists Loyiso Bala, Nathan Ro and Graeme Watkins will delight audiences with their signature brand of jazz, swing and blues with a distinct modern twist. Amongst others, they’re planning to bring some sultry female energy onto the stage like Chiano Skye and the gorgeous all-star Shoo-Wop Shop, comprising Tamara Dey, Jamali’s Mariechan and Mikhale Jones!

To be part of the audience, click here, but hurry up as tickets are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The M-Net and Friends shows will be screened exclusively on M-Net 101 on DStv Premium in December 2016 and January 2017.
