Beyoncé postpones concert after being put on vocal rest

Los Angeles - Beyoncé has postponed her concert on Wednesday in New Jersey.

The 35-year-old singer has been forced to push back her upcoming gig at the MetLife Stadium for her Formation World Tour by a month after she was placed on vocal rest by her doctor.

Beyoncé's concert will now go ahead on 7 October.

However, upcoming gigs in St. Louis, Los Angeles, Santa Clara, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Nashville have not been affected and will take place as planned.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian West led the birthday tributes to Beyoncé on Sunday by singing to her on Snapchat.

Beyoncé and her husband Jay Z - whose real name is Shawn Carter - marked the occasion at the Made in America festival, and a number of artists who performed at the Philadelphia music event mentioned Beyoncé's big day.
