Diamond Thug's new single has an international sound and we love it!

Cape Town – Cape Town band Diamond Thug has released the second single off their EP Monday Will Have To Wait.

A magical synergy of ballsy bass, off the wall pop melodies and a whimsical energy has sculpted the second single, Mind’s Eye, into a compact and crisp garage blueprint with a vibrant collage of catchy rock tune.

Chantel Van T’s vocals on Mind’s Eye reminds us of a bit of a mixture between the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O and Metric’s Emily Haines.

The song was recorded in Boston with Dave Minehan (The Neighborhoods) through the Converse Rubber Tracks Global Takeover project, a competition in which Diamond Thug were one of 84 winners selected from more than 9000 entrants globally.
