Die Antwoord to call it quits in 2017

Cape Town – Zef rappers Die Antwoord have announced that they will officially disband in September 2017.

The controversial South African duo took the international music world by storm with their explicit music style.

Now three albums and seven years later the pair is set to go their separate ways.

Frontman Ninja confirmed the split in an exclusive interview with Exclaim!

In the interview he said he is not scared of the end and that he feels beautiful about it.

Before they disband they will release their fourth album Mount Ninji and Da Nice Time Kid later this month.

Two other projects are also in the works; an art exhibition at the Cape Town Museum of Contemporary Modern Art Africa which will take a look back at their career and a gangster flick called, South African Ninja.

The group released a new track Fat Faded Fuck Face from their upcoming album.
