Cape Town – Britney’s back, bitch!
She has been making news headlines recently, and this time it is for all the right reasons: her brand new album!
Here’s everything you should know about it:
The release date
Britney announced via Twitter on Wednesday that her ninth album, titled Glory, will come out on 26 August.
"My new album and the beginning of a new era," Spears wrote on Twitter.
This will be her first album since 2013’s Britney Jean, which didn’t quite hit the spot on the charts. Here’s to hoping for a roaring success this time around!

What to expect from the album
Earlier this year Britney teased the new album by saying: "I've been working on this project for a year and a half now, almost two years so it really means a lot to me. It's my baby.
"It's a little melodic, a little more not so poppy.
"It's kind of chill. Very chill. I'm old school. I like classic rock. I like the Rolling Stones. The Lumineers are really cool. Sade is nice. I like 80s music, too."
Well, we're super-excited to hear it Brit!
