Cape Town – It’s almost time for the highly anticipated Mumford & Sons shows to kick off at the Grand Parade in Cape Town’s CBD.
There’s a lot of information you absolutely need to know about the show before you pitch up. So to make it really easy we’ve put it all in this handy Mumford & Sons Cape Town guide below:
29, 30 and 31 January in Cape Town.

Gates open at 17:00. (Don’t arrive before 15:00 as you will not be permitted to queue to enter the venue before this time.)
18:00 - 18:40 : John Wizards19:00 - 19:40 : The Very Best20:00 - 21:00 : Beatenberg21:30 - 23:30 : Mumford & Sons with Baaba Maal
Please ensure that you have a printed copy of your ticket with you. Each ticket must be scanned at the entrance, so no ticket – no entry! Please make sure that you arrive on the correct date displayed on your ticket. Gentlemen of the Road and Hilltop Live will not allow entry should you arrive on the incorrect date.
There is no parking at the Grand Parade in town. However there will be Park & Ride facilities running from the following malls: Tiger Valley Mall (Entrance 9), Stellenbosch University (Corner Merriman & Roux Road). There will also be a shuttle service every 60 minutes (or as it takes to fill a bus) from the V&A Waterfront Clock Tower parking. Parking tickets must be purchased by Thursday, 28 January.

So you've heard that the Mumford & Sons show is cashless but what does that mean? It means that you won't be able to use any money at the bars, food vendors or merchandise. You will need a special Mumford & Sons cash-less card or your own contactless credit or debit card.Where do I get those?You’ll be able to get a cashless-card at the event from one of the roaming vendors outside or at designated tents inside. You can then add money onto the cards using cash, debit or credit cards throughout the show when you need.What if I have cash left on the card afterwards?You can redeem any credit after the concert by following the info at the back of the card.
