From JAY Z to Karen Zoid: These are all the music videos you might have missed


Cape Town - It’s been quite a busy week as far as new music videos go.

So to catch you up, we’ve compiled all the brand new local and international music videos in one piece.

1. JAY Z  - Moonlight
Although his videos are all available on Tidal, JAY Z is also releasing them one by one via his YouTube account so everyone can see them. His latest release is for Moonlight from his new album 4:44. The video is a remake of a clip from the iconic TV show Friends, but with an all-black cast.

2. Karen Zoid – Vonkelvrou
Afrikaans rocker Karen Zoid started dropping brand new songs and videos last week. The latest video is for her song Vonkelvrou which is off her brand new album, titled Op Die Oomblik (Deel 1). The new Afrikaans album was released on Friday.

3. Shortstraw - Eventually ft. Laudo Liebenberg 
After 12 months of releasing a brand new song and video on the first Friday of every month for their Those Meddling Kids Collection, August saw the final song release from Shortstraw to complete this journey with its 12th offering, Eventually.

4. Kesha – Rainbow
After penning an emotional letter to her 18-year-old self which she read in a clip on CBS Good Morning on Friday, Kesha dropped a brand new video and song, titled Rainbow. It is also the title of her new album which was also released on Friday.

5. Francois van Coke – Beter Mens
As part of a music video project by kykNET, artists had to pitch awesome ideas for new music videos. The winners each received R50 000 to make their videos. This video of Beter Mens by Francois van Coke is one of them. To see the rest of the videos and vote for your facourite, click here.

6. Pink – What About Us
Pink dropped a brand new song and lyric video for What About Us on Thursday. While this is not a full new music video, we’re super-excited for Pink’s new album which is set to drop on 13 October.
