George Michael dies at 53

Cape Town - According to the BBC , British singer George Michael died on Sunday at his home in England.

The musician - whose career started in the 80's with pop group WHAM! - has had many hits such as Careless Whisper and Faith.

Tributes for the star have poured in on social media, from celebrities and non-famous fans alike.
