George Michael’s burial plot 'under 24 hour surveillance'

Cape Town – George Michael’s burial plot is under 24 hour surveillance ahead of his funeral, reports The Sun.

George’s family reportedly requested that security be ramped up at Highgate Cemetery amid fears that "ghouls could ruin the funeral".

George, who died on 26 December 2016 of natural causes, will be buried next to his mom Lesley at Highgate Cemetery in North London.

Fans have been flocking to the cemetery amid rumours that the singer’s funeral will be taking place today. According to The Sun, Kate Moss didn’t board a flight to India on Monday at the very last minute due to receiving details about George’s funeral.

But George’s family have been very secretive about the details surrounding the exact date of the funeral and have thus far not confirmed anything.
