Incubus ticket chaos causes SA fan meltdown

Cape Town – As fans clamoured to get their hands on Incubus tickets for their show in Pretoria, frustration has been growing in some quarters as the Nutickets website crashed.

Concert promotor We Are Live posted the following message on Facebook: "Our ticketing partner, Nutickets are experiencing very high volumes of traffic which is causing the site to slow down. We know this is extremely frustrating. We will notify you as soon as the site is back up and running. We really appreciate your patience!!"

After tickets went on sale on Monday at 11:00, fans were taking to the Facebook event page to complain about the site not working, being logged out after selecting tickets and being cut off completely after having made payment for the tickets.

We Are Live responded to many people’s comment saying that if your card was charged, your transaction was successful and that you will receive your tickets today still.

At the time of publishing it seemed like the chaos was restored with many fans saying they've received their tickets as well as that the website is working again.

For Cape Town fans, the ticket link will go live on Tuesday, but fans can pre-register here to get access to the tickets first.

A new venue for the Cape Town show will also be announced on Tuesday, as it will not be taking place at the Grand Arena as originally announced.
