New York - Janet Jackson on Thursday rescheduled concerts she had previously cancelled in a new sign of her solid recovery from a mystery illness.
The pop superstar had announced on Christmas Eve that she was postponing a number of shows because she needed an urgent operation on which she declined to elaborate.
Jackson on her website confirmed that she would restart her tour on 30 March in Birmingham, England, which was already set to be the first date on her European leg.
Her postponed North American dates, which had been due to take place from January through March, will now come after the European leg.
Her last date will now be in Cleveland on 28 August, almost a year after she started the Unbreakable tour in Vancouver.
Jackson wrote on Social Media that she was unable to find a new time for her show in Lexington, Kentucky, due to remodeling at the venue.
Jackson, 49, earlier this month broke her silence on her condition but only to deny rumors that she had cancer and to say that she was recovering.
Jackson had temporarily retreated from the public eye after her brother Michael died in 2009 but returned two years later with a global tour.
Unbreakable, with a sound often eerily reminiscent of her late brother's, is her first album since the King of Pop's death.
