Listen to a snippet of Calvin Harris' cheat track right now!

Los Angeles - Calvin Harris wrote "100 per cent" of his new song with John Newman, which is supposedly about Taylor Swift's new relationship with Tom Hiddleston.

The Scottish DJ - who was left stunned when the Shake It Off hitmaker began dating the 35-year-old actor shortly after they split in June - teamed up with John Newman on the new track Ole and the singer insists he had nothing to do with the lyrical content of the single.

John said: "In all honesty, Calvin has done 100 per cent of the writing on this. I went into the studio, he said, 'Sing this', and I sang the song.

"He told me how to sing it. It's a weird one because, I've got no comment on the thing [Swift and Hiddleston's relationship]. I honestly can't -- it wouldn't be fair. I've just related to the tune in my own way."

Lyrics to the song include, "My heart speaks/ I ain't seen you or been with you for weeks/ But I see online that you've begun to be/ A good girl and take trips with your boyfriend/ Being attentive, continue to pretend"

And in an apparent reference to Tom's Avengers character Loki, "Low key you won't tell none of your friends about me."

However, John refused to confirm the subject matter is Taylor and Tom.
