Cape Town – KFM Breakfast presenter, Ryan O'Connor, had a chat with Mariah Carey on Tuesday morning. Ryan coached Mariah to speak some Afrikaans and even got her to say a few words in Xhosa.
Mariah, who kicks off her SA tour in Cape Town on 26 April, says she’s keen to try some local cuisine once she arrives in the country.
“Bring me something traditionally South African to try,” she told Ryan.
The We Belong Together singer has visited SA before during a trip with Oprah Winfrey to visit her Leadership Academy for Girls.
Mariah says she is super-excited to perform in South Africa and says fans should “expect the unexpected”.
