New doccie shows Die Antwoord before they shot to fame

Cape Town – A new documentary released by Highsnobiety features footage of Die Antwoord at one of their first live gigs in Cape Town in 2009.

Part of the Highsnobiety TV series and directed by the band’s close friend, Sean Wilson-Smith, the video gives a close-up look at Ninja and Yo-Landi way back when they were still performing under the name Die Fokken Antwoord.

Shot on stage with the band at the Klein Libertas theatre, the video shows the band at the beginning of their career before they shot to fame.

Die Antwoord released their fourth studio album, titled Mount Ninji and Da Nice Time Kid, in September this year.
