Johannesburg - This weekend Carnival City Gardens came alive as  DRUM Beat 2017 rocketed the Eastrand. As usual with DRUM Beat concert people came in their numbers to watch some of their favorite artists and as usual the acts didn't dissapoint.

"The feeling of being here at DRUM Beat never gets old. It's always great," said rapper AKA who was performing at the concert for the second time.

Duo Mafikizolo set the stage alight with some of their famous hits as well as songs from their upcoming album. "This crowd is so amazing! They are such a vibe," the duo said.

One of the crowd favorite Amanda Black let people screaming for more as she belted songs from her debut album Amazulu.

Other acts included Sands, Lady Zamar, DJ Shimza, Okmalumkoolkat, A Reece, shekinah and more.
