Rihanna to fly into Glastonbury with a helicopter

2016-06-24 15:05

Los Angeles - Rihanna is to be flown into the Glastonbury Festival on a helicopter on Friday night.

The R&B superstar brings her Anti World Tour to London's Wembley Stadium this evening and has reportedly booked a helicopter to transport her to the music extravaganza held at Worthy Farm, Somerset, South West England, immediately after she finishes so she can join pal Cara Delevingne at the Shangri-La after-party.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "This will be her first-ever Glastonbury but she has always been desperate to go. She is going with Cara who is going to show her around Shangri-La, where all the best nightlife is."

It is rumoured Rihanna is to join Coldplay on stage when they close the festival on Sunday.

The two acts previously collaborated on 2012 single Princess Of China.

The Bajan beauty's proposed trip to Glastonbury comes after an emotional week for the Work hitmaker after she broke down in tears on the opening night of her tour at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on Tuesday.

Rihanna sparked concern for wellbeing as tears fell down her face as she sung her Eminem collaboration, Love the Way You Lie (Part II).
