Sam Smith reveals new music release date

Cape Town - Sam Smith is ready to return to the spotlight, confirming he has a new record coming out as soon as 8 September.

The Stay With Me hitmaker penned a heartfelt message addressed to his fans thanking them for their patience and promised them “the wait is nearly over" and that "something is coming very soon.”

Following the message, Sam shared an image of a billboard with his face and the date, 8 September on it.

He captioned the photo: “Morning London. X”

Sam also hinted that he has been hard at work in studio with a photo of himself “rehearsing”.
