Cape Town – Solange Knowles is coming to South Africa to headline Afropunk Johannesburg.
Afropunk Johannesburg is set to take place on 30 and 31 December 2017. The line-up will also feature US singer Anderson Paak and local talent such as Spoek Mathambo, Laura Mvula, Black Motion and more.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday night, 30-year-old Solange said: "Very very excited to bring in my New Year in Johannesburg."

The Afropunk Festival is an annual arts festival that celebrates and unifies the cultural cornerstones of AFROPUNK through music, film, skate, and art. The festival originated in the US but has since expanded to other cities such as Paris and London.

Solange previously visited SA in 2012 to do a cover shoot for Elle magazine in Cape Town. And while she was in SA she decided to shoot the music video for her song Losing You in Langa.
