Victoria Beckham has finally agreed to participate in the Spice Girls reunion

Los Angeles - Victoria Beckham has reportedly agreed to perform with the Spice Girls in London.

The 41-year-old fashion designer initially refused to be a part of a 20th anniversary reunion tour with former bandmates Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C, but has now come up with a compromise that will see her take part in a handful of shows.

A source said: "There are still lots of details to sort out but Victoria's said she'll perform with the girls.

"However, she stressed she needed to focus on her husband David and their four kids this year after a stressful 2015 of trying to juggle work and family life, so committing to all the dates would be too much. She already has a lot on her plate with her design empire."

And it seems Victoria made her offer in the nick of time, as it came just as Mel C threatened to pull out of the gigs if she wouldn't take part.

The source told Closer magazine: "The girls had been trying to persuade Victoria to join the tour and Mel B was furious with her for refusing to get involved.

"Tensions came to a head last week when Mel C refused to do the tour without her and it led Victoria to break the good news she was willing to compromise.

"She did a lot of thinking over the festive period and realised that while she couldn't commit to the entire tour, she at least owed it to the girls and their fans to show her support and do a couple of the London gigs."
