WATCH: Calvin Harris reveals what his new song is about

Los Angeles - Calvin Harris has been working on My Way for "a few years".

The This Is What You Came For hitmaker appears to have shut down rumours his newest release is about his breakup from Taylor Swift but admits the song could be about a relationship.

He told iHeartRadio: "The song's kind of about breaking out of a situation that you thought was a good thing. Then, you're way more comfortable out of it.

"And it could be anything. It could be a job, or it could be a relationship. I had kind of the idea for the concept for a few years, but I didn't know how to work out how it sounded."

It has been rumoured that the 32-year-old DJ's new track is about his split from the Shake It Off hitmaker as it features lyrics such as "I made my move and it was all about you. I feel so far removed. You are the one thing in my way."
