WATCH: Local bands get in the mood for River Republic 2017 with the #clapbackchallenge

Cape Town – It’s almost time for the boutique festival River Republic to kick things into gear for summer.

Renowned for the organising of Up The Creek, one of the Western Cape's most loved music festivals, the Red Hot Events team introduced River Republic two years ago.

What makes this festival so cool? It’s one of the few festival that are still kid friendly, yes you can totally take your kids with and watch some awesome music while chilling next to the Breede River. The festival is taking place from 24-26 November at Round the Bend Lodge.

And to get everyone pumped for the festival, the organisers started the #clapbackchallenge. The challenge involves a band having to give their best version of The Clapping Song by The Belle Stars, and then they have to nominated the next band, and so forth.
