WATCH: R. Kelly leaves interview in a huff

Los Angeles – Things got very awkward during an interview between R. Kelly and HuffPost Live host, Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani.

The R&B singer was set to do an interview about his new album The Buffet. 

When he was asked about his controversial past he refused to answer and went on the attack. 

After some verbal sparring between the pair he walked off the set but not before making a sexist comment.

Kelly made headlines in 2002 when a sex tape leaked allegedly showing him engaging in sex with a minor. During a search of his home child pornography was found.

The singer was however found not guilty during a trial.
