WATCH: Rag’n’Bone Man chats about the inspiration behind his hit Human

Cape Town – In a Beat x Beat interview, Rag'n'Bone Man takes us into the studio to reveal the making of his hit single, Human.

Rag'n'Bone Man has been a prolific underground name for a couple of years now, honing a ferocious live reputation through guitar wielding solo performances, as the resident vocalist of rap's Rum Committee, and now through his first release through Sony Music, Human.

Rag'n'Bone Man (real name Rory Graham) walked away with the British Breakthrough Artist Award at last night’s Brit Awards. This win follows an incredible 2016 for the singer: recently crowned winner of the coveted BRITs Critics’ Choice Award and coming second in the BBC Sound Of 2017. His first single Human has reached #1 on iTunes in an outstanding 33 countries, reached Platinum status in 4 countries and Gold in 6. Human also landed the #2 spot in the Official UK Charts race this Christmas, has been streamed 105 million times and peaked at #2 in the Worldwide Shazam chart. Along the way Rory has also gained a plethora of fans from legends such as Chaka Khan, De La Soul and Elton John, who regularly plays Rory’s music on his Beats 1 show.

In a first, the Rag'n'Bone man Beat x Beat interview will be the first episode that will be hosted exclusively by Apple Music.

Beat x Beat is an existing series which offers an exclusive look into the stories and processes behind new albums from some of the biggest and most exciting musical acts across the world.

The Rag'n'Bone Man Beat x Beat is an interview piece which was shot across two days, one of which was in the studio. Essentially it looks at the creative process of Human and explains a little about the man behind the music.
