WATCH: Sam Smith serenading a couple at their wedding will make you cry

Cape Town – As part of his performance at the BBC, cameras followed Sam Smith as he surprised two brides at their wedding reception.

In the video Sam is seen meeting with the reverend, who will be performing the ceremony, at the Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church in London. The reverend reveals to Sam that they’re "a really nice couple, we got to know them over the last year or so that they’ve been coming here, and they’re just a really nice, really normal and down to earth couple."

Sam then secretly witnesses the wedding ceremony and nervously prepares to surprise them at their reception with a song.

Prepare to ugly cry!
