Blues Broers
After dusting off their instruments following a surprise appearance at the Up the Creek festival last month, the Blues Broers head to Cape Town to perform at a new affiliate of one of their favourite venues, Cafe Roux in Noordhoek. Ben Dey and the Concrete Lions
Ben Dey and The Concrete Lions is an afro/indie pop rock band from Cape Town. With their first single Easy Love recently charting at #1 on the 5fm Top 10 at 10 Rock Chart and being play-listed on Johannesburg’s biggest commercial radio station, 94.7, these guys are not wasting time finding their spot in the local music scene. Blues Meets Rock
Catch the Albert Frost Trio, Boulevard Blues and Jesse Jordan live at Hillcrest Quarry on Sunday for another Blues Meets Rock event. The first band kicks off at 14:30. Tickets cost R100 and kids under 12 gets free entry. Click here for more info and to book a table.


Tresor
OneSight Acoustics is back and is set to deliver some of South Africa’s top talent at two amazing venues in Johannesburg and Cape Town, all while raising money to support OneSight. Catch Tresor on Friday at The Good Luck Bar in Johannesburg. The music kicks off at 20:00 and other artists on the line-up include BCUC, Johnny Cradle and Half ‘n Half. Instead of buying a ticket you can give a donation and feel free to donate more on the donation page. R50 - you can come and join in on the fun; R100 - you can enjoy the show, and provide a free eye exam for someone in need; R150 - you can enjoy the show, provide an eye exam AND a pair of glasses for someone in need. Tribute show: Eminem - Rage Against the Machine - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Join Arcade Empire in Pretoria on Saturday, 18 November for one hell of a Tribute Night! Music by Eminem, Rage Against the Machine & Red Hot Chili Peppers will be performed by members of mr rish, Straatligkinders, Cadillac Sun & Strait-Jackal. R30 gets you in. Click here for more info.
