Los Angeles - Pop star Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman have split up after five years of marriage, a report says.
The report on Tuesday quoted a source close to the couple as saying they had separated, but had not yet initiated divorced proceedings.
The couple have one child, Max, who was born in January 2008 and are "committed to raising him together and remaining friends," the report said.
Aguilera, 29, married music industry executive Bratman, 33, in November 2005.
A former child star on Disney's The Mickey Mouse Club, Aguilera is one of the world's biggest recording stars with hits like Beautiful and What a Girl Wants, though her latest album Bionic has been slammed by critics and shunned by fans.
Her new movie Burlesque, in which she plays a dancer in a burlesque night club, is due to hit screens later this year.
