Amor says marriage is over

Johannesburg – The Italian soccer team which will arrive shortly in South Africa for the Soccer World Cup had better watch out, sexy singer Amor Vittone has jokingly said.

"I am single. I can't wait to get my hands on those sexy bodies," she joked.

Speaking on Friday night to Rapport, Vittone spoke about a future without her husband, former Springbok captain Joost van der Westhuizen.

Vittone, who is half-Italian herself, recently asked Van der Westhuizen to move out and told Rapport that the marriage was over.

“You can’t be sad the whole time. You can’t keep living in the past. You will make yourself sick,” Vittone said frankly in an open-hearted interview.

“Joost is a wonderful father for my children. But I couldn’t live with the lies,” she said.

She was now focusing on her children, she said, but also on herself.

She said she had cried recently when she had watched Sex and the City 2 as she could identify with the characters.

Van der Westhuizen would not comment.
