Amor slams new porn movie

Johannesburg – A new pornographic film, about to hit South African shelves, is apparently not about Joost van der Westhuizen and his controversial sex tape - despite striking similarities between the film’s storyline and events in the former Bok captain’s life.

But both Van der Westhuizen and his estranged wife, Amor Vittone, are apparently trying to stop the film from being released.

The film’s producers say it is not a movie about the couple and that any similarities are coincidental.

Marinda from Vaxispace Produksie says it is also “pure coincidence” that the pornographic film is called Amore – which is Italian for love.

The porno cost R120 000 to make and was shot over two months in a house in Johannesburg – featuring “highly professional strippers” and explicit sex.

It is apparently about a couple whose marriage ends after the husband is secretly filmed having sex with a dancer. When the man is blackmailed and refuses to pay, the video is given to the media and the story makes headlines.

On Friday, Vittone released a statement through a spokesperson to say she would not comment on the movie and was busy with legal action
against the producers.

At an event earlier, she had said she couldn't believe they were "doing something like this."

She was currently in Canada with her two children, visiting her sister.
