Charlie Sheen found motherless in NY

New York - Actor Charlie Sheen was taken to hospital in New York after being found highly intoxicated at New York's Plaza Hotel, police and local media reported on Tuesday.

Police responded to a call early on Tuesday morning. The 45-year-old star of the hit TV show Two and a Half Men was found naked in his hotel room after a night of partying, according to local media reports.

Police spokesperson Paul Browne said no complaints were made and there was no arrest. No criminal charges are expected.

In August, Sheen pleaded guilty to assault in connection with a 2009 domestic dispute involving his wife Brooke Mueller.
