Beverly Hills - Authorities say an executive with a company that bought the Australian Girls Gone Wild franchise has been released on bail after being charged in a deadly hit-and-run crash.
Los Angeles County district attorney spokesperson Jane Robison says 34-year-old Ryan Bowman was charged on Monday with leaving the scene of a collision.
A judge postponed Bowman's arraignment until January 4, ordered him to stay in Los Angeles County and reduced his bail from $2m to $50 000.
Bowman posted bail and was released later on Monday.
Bowman is accused of fleeing in a Bentley that hit and killed 21-year-old Lauren Ann Freeman at a West Hollywood crosswalk on Wednesday.
Investigators say Bowman told them that he was an executive with Sydney-based Zeal Entertainment, which bought the Australian franchise for the raunchy videos in which women expose themselves.
