Atlanta - Actor Jack Black joined Zoo Atlanta for a naming ceremony for a 3-month-old giant panda cub.
The zoo named the panda Po, the same as the main character in Black's new animated movie, Kung Fu Panda II.
The cub is the only giant panda born at a US zoo last year. The naming ceremony was held Tuesday morning, following a Chinese tradition of naming giant pandas when they turn 100 days old.
Black posed for pictures with the 4.5kg cub, which made squawking noises and wriggled and writhed in his keeper's hands.
Black is promoting the film, which is due out May 27 and also stars Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jean-Claude van Damme and Jackie Chan.
