Los Angeles - Prosecutors are demanding more than $100m in compensation from Conrad Murray, the doctor convicted of manslaughter in the death of pop star Michael Jackson, US media reported on Thursday.
According to the new court documents filed by prosecutors, Jackson's children are entitled to lay claim against Murray for the money that Jackson would have earned in his This is it tour.
Prosecutors also demanded Murray be sentenced to the maximum four years in prison.
The 58-year-old doctor was convicted earlier this month of recklessly causing Jackson's death by administering the hospital anaesthetic propofol as a sleeping aid.
