Los Angeles - Oprah Winfrey has been invited to Whitney Houston's funeral.
The media mogul will join a limited guest list including Kevin Costner - the late singer's co-star in The Bodyguard - Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin at the private funeral at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday, according to TMZ.com.
A camera will be allowed inside the ceremony at the church - which holds a maximum of 300 people, and was where she began her singing career - and it will be broadcast live on the internet, allowing the I Will Always Love You singer's fans to grieve alongside her family.
Following the service Whitney's body will be laid to rest at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield in New Jersey, next to her late father John Houston.
However, Whitney's ex-husband Bobby Brown - and the father of her daughter Bobbi Kristina, who entered hospital soon after her mother's passing - is thought to have been stopped from attending by her mother Cissy because they blame him for the notorious issues with drugs she had throughout her life.
