Los Angeles - Italian hospital pharmacists are threatening to go on a ''Viagra strike''.
The medical professionals are warning they will cut people in the nation off from the drug unless the government changes it plans to reform professions which have high entry barriers.
Union official Loredana Vasselli revealed Viagra was chosen specifically because it is in demand in the country but it ''does not put patients' health at risk.''
The hospital pharmacists are annoyed with the government's latest economic liberalisation plan because they believe it gives private pharmacies preference for new licences.
