Pippa Middleton to publish first book

London - Pippa Middleton will be publishing her first book which is said to serve as a guide to home entertaining.

The 28-year-old younger sister to the Duchess of Cambridge, formerly known as Kate Middleton, says that the book is based on her experience in her family's party business and work in an events company.

'Feel-good book'

She said that Celebrate: A Year of British Festivities for Families and Friends is a "feel-good book" with practical tips on how to host British-themed parties, including recipes, crafts and games.

Penguin, the book's publisher, said that the book is due to be released in late October.

Pippa became a celebrity in Britian and the rest of the world after being a bridesmaid during her sister's wedding to Prince William in April 2011.
