London - A family spokesman says singer Amy Winehouse's funeral will be held on Tuesday for family and close friends.

The spokesman says the time and place of the private funeral will not be made public.

The troubled singer died on Saturday after a long struggle with alcohol and drug abuse. Autopsy results released on Monday were inconclusive and more tests are being conducted to determine the cause of death.

Crowds have gathered outside her north London home since her death to light candles and leave flowers and other tributes.

Winehouse was 27 when she died. She was best known for her soulful Back to Black album.

In recent years her personal problems overshadowed her attempts to keep her music career going.

From someone that seemed so very insecure, the tributes are pouring in from around the world. SO, despite her battle with drugs and alcohol, she was loved by thousands and thousands! Such a pity she did not realize this sooner - insecurity in itself is a horrible emotion to deal with, as we are all human, we all deal with it in our own way. She chose to get comfortably numb....I actually was listening to my Pink Floyd CD earlier, and though of her! Fame, sure does come at a price, and this lovely lady, with the most earthy, soothing voice....paid the ultimate price....her beautiful life!! I so hope that the media and fans will back off her family for a while, especially since her devoted Mom and Dad have been through so much regarding media covering her booze and drug problems for years now.....I also feel very heartbroken for them, as they will always question themselves as parents, did they do something wrong? Should they have done more?.....I think any Mom or Dad would, in this situation....but, it was her life and she chose her own path. So, Amy.....may you 'Shine on, you crazy diamond!!'
