Los Angeles - Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker is to replace Demi Moore in the film Lovelace, about the groundbreaking porn star Linda Lovelace, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The announcement of the change in roles came just days after Moore, 49, was rushed to hospital for what her reps described as exhaustion, but which tabloid websites reported was actually for substance abuse.
In the movie, Amanda Seyfried will play Lovelace, who starred in one of the most famous porn films of all time, Deep Throat, but later was a spokesperson for the anti-pornography movement.
Parker will replace Moore in the role of feminist icon Gloria Steinem.
