PICS: We watched Prince Harry play Polo like a pro! Get all the deets here!

Cape Town – Prince Harry is in the midst of his Lesotho/South Africa tour and celebrated Sentabale, the charity he co-founded with Prince Seeiso to assist Lesotho's vulnerable children at the annual Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup on Saturday.

The event started with both teams walking in followed by the national anthems of South Africa and the United Kingdom, sung by André Venter.

The two teams of four battled it out under the blistering sun with team Royal Salute finally taking the win with a score of 8 over the Sentebale team score of 7.

Prince Harry – who played for team Sentebale - played alongside Royal Salute World Polo Ambassador Malcolm Borwick, with Sentebale Polo Ambassador Nacho Figueras leading Royal Salute to a victory.

HRH left everyone at the edge of their seat when falling from his mount but returned to the game unharmed, a second fall saw Prince Harry’s humorous side as he took a final bow when returning to his feet.

In the sixth year of partnership between Sentebale and British luxury whisky Royal Salute, the Polo Cup follows the charity’s official opening of the ‘Mamohatu Children’s Centre - the flagship centre in Lesotho that will provide emotional and psychological support to communities currently affected by HIV and AIDS.

Other guests in attendance were some of South Africa’s most influential figures, including Ryk Neethling, Jeannie D, Graeme Smith and Minnie Dlamini.

Next on Prince Harry’s agenda will be a call on Archbishop Desmond Tutu taking place on Monday.
