Cape Town - Youth music radio station 5fM announced changes to its DJ line-up on Thursday.
There weren't many surprises when the station made public the changes to their DJ line-up. Listeners can expect to hear from the same personalities that they have gotten used to, but now in different time-slots.
House music DJ Roger Goode will once more feature when he takes control of a new 19:00-22:00 show. He will replace Rob Vember who is staying with the station in a different role.
Ulti-mix: Weekend
According to a statement released by the station: "Roger will be joined by 5FM’s 'Zulu Maiden' Angie Khumalo who moves from 12:00-15:00 to join Roger as a show contributor."
The Ultimate Mix @6 on DJ Fresh's Afternoon Drive will become its own stand-alone show with DJ Euphonik as the host.
The show will now be called Ulti-mix: Weekend edition which will air every Saturday from 19:00-22:00.
The Morning Show with Gareth Cliff as well as the Afternoon Drive remains the same.
However, the station has not yet announced the remainder of the line-up. This means that there has not been any news on who will replace the likes of Sasha Martinengo, Anele Mdoda and Grant Nash who have announced their departure.
All the changes to 5FM's line-up take effect on April 1 and more announcements will be made on March 8.
