Cape Town – "The witch had to burn and the legal profession made sure that she did not escape the stake," writes Dr Johan Lemmer, a sexologist and former stepfather of Cézanne Visser (aka Advocate Barbie) who has penned a book about Visser's life and trial.
Visser is currently serving a seven year sentence on several counts of sex-related charges.
Dirk Prinsloo, the advocate with whom she lived while she was committing the crimes is currently serving out a prison sentence in Belarus for bank robbery.
According to Lemmer Prinsloo is a "sexual sadist" who succeeded in "turning an innocent girl into his own Barbie-doll slut within a couple of months".
Lemmer's book, Advokaat Barbie - Wat regtig gebeur het (Advocate Barbie – What Really Happened) is being released in Centurion on Friday and will be available in book shops shortly after.
The book follows the release of Visser's mother, Susan's book, Ek wil hê jy moet weet – sy bly my kind (I want you to know – she is still my child).
Explicit
Lemmer's book differs vastly from his former wife's. In his book he writes explicitly about Prinsloo's sexual deviations. While no age restrictions have been imposed on the book, it does contain a warning about its violent and sexual content.
Lemmer said on Wednesday that the book is not "a story, but rather a documentary narration" of Visser and Prinsloo's relationship and the spectacular trial. Lemmer was involved with the trial as sexologist from the outset.
He mentions amongst other things, that what happened in Prinsloo's house "did not even come close to being kinky sex" but was the deeds of a "dangerous sexual sadist".
"Prinsloo's sexual lust was not limited to 'normal' intercourse. It was mostly forceful, fast, painful and emotionless."
