Idols presenter knocks down woman

Johannesburg - Idols presenter ProVerb, whose real name is Tebogo Thekisho, knocked down a woman in Johannesburg on Wednesday, Eyewitness News reported.

The accident happened as ProVerb was making his way home after his morning DJ slot on 94.7 Highveld Stereo.

Netcare 911's Jeff Wicks told Eyewitness News that the woman had been taken to hospital after suffering head trauma.

The events and the cause of the accident will be investigated by the police, according to Wicks.

The presenter is reportedly with the woman's family at the hospital.
