Cape Town – A second run of Karin Kortje's life story in the form of a musical titled This is My Life, is set to commence this week at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town.
The former Idols winner tells the story of her humble beginnings and her rise to fame in 2005 and everything that went along with it.
Producer Alistair Izobell said in a press release that Kortje was hurt in the process but that her talent allowed her to get back up.
Basil Appollis directs the intimate story that deals with a fairytale that initially went wrong, but is now back on track.
Loukman Adams also features in the cast while Camillo Lombard leads the live orchestra.
This is My Life will be on stage from November 15 to December 3 from Monday to Saturday. Tickets are available from Computicket or any branch of Shoprite Checkers.
