Cape Town – Radio DJ Mark Pilgrim and his wife Nicole on Tuesday welcomed their second baby girl, named Alyssa Stella Pilgrim.
Mark announced the news on his blog on Wednesday: "Yesterday at 3pm, my second little angel came into the world, weighing in at 3.08kg!"
He also said that Alyssa is "healthy and strong and looks a little like mum".
Mark, who has beaten testicular cancer, also posted the following on his blog: "It's great to know that after having testicular cancer and the statistics were against us having even one child naturally, I'm living proof that one ball does indeed work just as well as two!"
Mark married Nicole in Mauritius on 7 July 2007 and their first-born Tayla-Jean, was born in April 2010.
