Cape Town – Media24 launched a new magazine, NewsNow, in Cape Town on Tuesday.
As part of Media24 Weekly Magazines, NewsNow will focus on presenting the most important news of the week from various sources.
NewsNow will differ from traditional news publications in the sense that they will not send field reporters to cover news, but rather compile news from existing sources.
"The magazine will aggregate top local and international news into a punchy, 48-page package for readers who want to stay in the know but don't have time to trawl the many other news sources," NewsNow editor Waldimar Pelser says.
"It includes reports on business, lifestyle and people and our readers are young professionals who are time-strapped but keen consumers of news media."
NewsNow will be available from September 2 at R20 per copy.
