Nando's has a 'confession' for Oprah

2013-01-18 14:41

Cape Town - Hot on the heels of the first part of the much-publicised Oprah Winfrey interview with Lance Armstrong, Nando's has released a suggestive new poster that pokes fun at the disgraced cyclist's doping confession.

Known for their quirky remarks on many hot topics, Nando's has taken their own spin on the interview in the poster, which reads: "We also have a confession Oprah. Our flame grilled Peri-Peri chicken is rumoured to be an aphrodisiac, which means it enhances your performance, if you know what we mean."

The fallen cyclist, in his first interview since he was stripped of numerous titles due to charges of years of using performance-enhancing drugs, revealed to Oprah that he was guilty of doping during his cycling career.

Reuters reports that Oprah Winfrey dug into the psyche of disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong, calling him out as a bully and a brazen liar, after he admitted to years of systematic doping.

Take a look at Nandos' poster, featured on their Facebook-page after the interview aired:
