Pretoria - New voices will be taking over the Jacaranda 94.2 breakfast show in December.
Radio and TV personality Rian van Heerden and former M-Net continuity presenter Ashley Hayden have been announced as the new presenters on the station's revamped breakfast show.
Rian, who currently presents "That Show" on the station on weekday evenings, is looking forward to the new challenge after 20 years in the industry.
"My relationship with Jacaranda started many years ago and I’m taking this new role with great excitement," said Rian.
While not new to radio, this is Ashley Hayden's first stint on a breakfast team. She is well-known for her days as a continuity presenter on M-Net and she also participated in 2010's Survivor SA: Santa Carolina, where she placed second.
Full house
The new breakfast team is rounded off with Dianne Broodryk, who is the heart of Good Morning Angels and presents the news, together with Robbie Kruse who will man the sports desk.
The breakfast show is currently hosted by Frankie du Toit who will return to "The Workzone" weekdays from 10am to 1pm.
According to the station's promotions team, Rian and Ashley will begin their new show with a "soft" launch in December but the show's new identity will be official from January 2012.
