Public can watch Oprah graduate

Bloemfontein - People will be able to see Oprah Winfrey in person if they buy tickets in time.

The world famous talk show queen visits the Kovsie Campus on June 24 to receive an honorary doctorate in education from the University of the Free State.

According to UFS spokesperson Lacea Loader, a limited number of tickets will be available to the public from June 15 - 22 at an administrative fee of R10 per ticket at Computicket.

Tickets for staff and students will be available for free during the same dates from the Information Centre on the Bloemfontein Campus Thakaneng bridge from 08:00 to 16:30.
